Arizona (-7) over Washington St

REVENGE of the loss against the cougars, Arizona's only defeat in its last 12 contests, ended Washington State's 38-game losing streak in the series.. Salim Stoudamire played terrible in the first meeting and will look to perform better. Not only did Salim have a bad day, but Frye and Adams also did not show in the first meeting (Frye going 2-7 and Adams having 0 points). NEW game because now ariz is clicking on offense averaging 90.2 points and shooting 53.8 percent from the field over the last six games. Mean while Washington State has averaged 57.9 points in its last nine outings. Not a good spot for the WSU team to run into Zona even at their court.

UCLA (5.5) over USC

UCLA has a good young team, that will feed of the home court energy. UCLA comes off a loss so they look to rebound. USC has lost some close games on the road. Just don't see the Trojans having the scoring to match the bruins which they will get from Thompson. Plus UCLA won by 3 the last time these teams met, so they have not only the edge in the series but now home court. UCLA play very well at home and they should be able to finish the drink late in the game.
