yup, don't see the usual talk tonight I usually see after arizona plays about how great this guy is :mj07: funny how washington state is about the only team in that chit conference that plays any defense or disciplined ball and they kind of took stoud out of it tonight!! :142lmao: I'll take the other guy who plays in a much deeper and much better conference.....wonder what he'd do if he played in the "lack 10"....the conference that believes good defense is holding a team to under 90!!! :nono:
i have never compared him to the most hated college player in america or claimed one to be better than the other. i bet lute faces the same type of strategy in ncaa's so he best teach them to be patient. redick plays on a team with an average point guard who may be done for th eyear with knee injury. ewing had not played point guard since 8th grade. versus tech and other teams left to play redick will have to play point for many minutes in a game plus he does average about 38.5 minutes each game. they are different players that do different things for their teams but i believe the stats show redick's assists and rebounds to be better.i bet salim wants to play for phoenix in the pros-no defense and shoot 20 times per game.

I still love how everyone thinks the teams in the ACC play quality defense. . . lol. . . completely clueless but that's ok.
And I've brought this up before: If you go back to Duke's nonconference schedule and take a look at Reddick's numbers, they are NOT any better. In fact, they were worse than the numbers he is posting in conference play as his percentages have been slowly moving up. Funny how Reddick is shooting better in conference especially if the ACC supposively has good defensive teams. LOL, what a joke.

Dick bennet teams always frustrate lute olson team long history when he coached at greenbay and they were supposed to get crushed by jason kidd and win outright. He may have less talented players and inferior athletes but he knows how to coach old school fundamental basketball.
if you knew alot about the acc and duke you would know redick and ewing both scored 29 pts vs a pretty good defensive team called michigan state. unless i am mistaken zona returned almost all of their players. this duke team may be coach k's favorite in years because of the low expectations, the loss of deng ,livingston and thompson and especially because of the injury situation since opening game. nelson, shav,mclure,love and dockery now have missed alot of games. with 6 scholarship players, a football player who has been named co-captain and 2 walkons they have done ok for themselves. i love the acc and am quite satisfied with the teams whether they play defense or not. it does seem most teams that play duke at least say they play a decent defensive scheme. good luck rooting for your favorite team and i will be satisfied watching state, duke unc and wake the rest of the year. adding bc to the mix next year might even cause some more jealousy for some non-acc fans.Nickelback said:
