what it means, gf9, has relevance to the poster to whom it was addressed, namely box and 1 (who has been absent recently)...it's meaningless to anyone not from the upstate NY area...box is a respected presence here and has been away for awhile but i think he still monitors the site, so it was an FYI to him...gl, caper

there is also a cba that is in syracuse...they are ranked in the top 25 in the country....the winner of this game would have to cross paths with cba-syracuse at some point during regional play..i know the pt gd from cbs-syracuse is signed with duke and one of the players playing in the mcd's all american game

i would have to give the edge to schdy in this game....1st time these 2 teams played this year scddy lost but was without there big man in the middle...this was at cba's home court

schdy also lost to a team from niagra falls earlier this year which is ranked on the top 15 in usa today....schdy has played some tough non-confernece games like they do each year against nyc teams at christmas tourny..

the second game was suppose to be at schdy (draws 4,000+ at home) but was moved to the pepsi and drew 7,000+...schdy did win this game on the nuetral court at the pepsi

tongiht same place at pepsi and schdy has there guy in the middle for the game...schdy has a huge following and would guess 7,000+ will be there just rooting for them....will be a tight game....no blowout here....

I know box's has to remeber the 2001 schdy team that went 31-1 (lost in federation championship game against rice from nyc) team consisted of
James Thomas (texas)
Willie Dean (purdue)
Jason McKreith (Rice)
and about 5 other smaller d-1 school players...may be the best capital district team of all time...i know some will condend that some of Kubeks sp? teams from shen may have been better since they won the federation tourny
