Larry King is the worst interviewer on TV. I saw him interview Jon Stewart a couple weeks ago when Stewart spewed his usual "inaccurate and biased statements", King just laughed like an idiot instead of making Stewart back up his words. Any Fox interviewer would have forced Stewart to back up his words with facts and sources. Larry King just giggled like a dumbshit. No wonder FOX dominates.

Fox dominates because multiple outlets split up the free-thinking centrists while the narrow-minded neocons have but one place to go.

Larry King has been horrible for years. His interviews are out and out worthless and have been forever. Unwatchable for me.

I think those same "narrow-minded neocons" that you speak of have just grown tired of the same liberal biased anti-republican negative garbage offered by outlets like CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, NY Times, etc........ I don't know many "free thinking centrists" who subscribe to that bullshit either but who knows maybe you do.

ok - what the hell - recently the critique and mocking of howard dean being selected as party chair. this wasn't "reported" it was laughed at on both of those programs. is that news? is it fair and balanced????

cnn does NOTHING like that biased treatment.

...if you want, i'll keep listing stuff as it comes to mind

Hannity and Colmes is not news reporting...it's an opinion forum with a dem and a republican arguing out sides so that doesnt even qualify. You want a specific example smurphy????

Just last week Aaron Brown referred to the Bush administration as a "hedgehog" administration. I saw in myself while flipping through the channels. You also probably don't get the LA Times but they bashed Bush on a daily basis on the front page in the days leading up to the election.

ok youre next....let's hear your examples

OK - the whole Jeff Guckert fiasco. Fox mentioned almost nothing about it. If the parties were reversed - they would have rattled on and on endlessly - and all Fox viewwers have to acknowledge this.

CNN treated it like a minor story. Of course they didn't ignore it, but they also didnt dwell on it, like Fox clearly would have done if the roles were reversed.

oreilly is a commentator...does not do hard news.

he also criticizes republicans.....i.e....jeb bush in fla. over their foster care program....

i don't watch much of hannity & colmes....

but i agree with you on hannity....that's why i don't watch the show.....but colmes does criticize republicans....

but you are talking about commentators, who are supposed to give their opinions, not hard news people.

commentators on the other cable networks also criticize people from the opposite party...

on cnn, which i don't watch anymore....they have gross fire & carvell & the other clinton guy (forgot his name) always criticizes republicans.

on msnbc....matthews is very critical of the republicans...more so than the democrats...but that is what you should expect from matthews...since he was a speach writer for democrats in his past career......

my point is that they all do it, but since you & other liberals don't agree with fox's point of view...you always single out fox as doing it the most.....but i believe they all do it about the same.

what does "hedgehog" administration mean?

i'm not talking about the la times. i know nothing about them.

those non-news programs are my whole point. all fox is is partial-unbalanced opinion shows - yet they call themselves a news channel. it makes no sense.

AR it's nothing but a prolonged temper tantrum because they got steamrolled by the majority of American voters this past year. This is a party that takes pride in whining, complaining, crying, and fingerpointing.

smurphy quote:"i asked first anyway - the dems are always on the defensive - allow me to stay on the offense here..."

i'm neither a republican or democrat......i'm registered as an independent....

the reason why the dems are on the defensive, as you say is because of their actions.....

and the dean appointment is a perfect example of why the dems are on the defensive... he is a joke & his recent comments are an example of why he is a joke...

the dems don't get how the american public is thinking post 9/11....that is why they are on the defensive.

For those of you who are politically challenged it means arrogant. I'm glad the "unbiased" LA Times is there to tell me how to view things.
