Record 49-44-4

Pitt @ BC (-4)

First, let me say this will be probably my biggest play of the college season thus far, hence if you want to call GOY.

Pitt is coming off 3 straight losses with two of them being at home. I believe they truly match up well with BC. The teams that trouble them are ones with athletic guards and/or 3-point shotting teams to which the latter really isn't one of BC's forte's. Smith is usually able to out-physical teams to get his points for BC, but he will have his hands full with Chevie and Co.. It is rather funny to me to see the opening line at -4 against and at the No.4 ranked (subject to change) team coming off three straight losses...Pitt was +5 at Nova, +5.5 at Syracuse, and +7.5 at UCONN. Pitt sucks as a favorite, but give them points and they are a nice wager. I think Pitt will benefit from some calls as nobody wants BC to win the Big East. After this one, I think BC will lose at Rutgers too and UCONN will win the Big East. Lastly, BC has benefited from playing a 2nd tier Big East Season, only playing ND-Cuse-UCONN once. Pitt plays with a lot of passion and energy tomorrow night.

I am going to wait to see if the line goes up to determine my wager amount as the early consesus is on BC even though I do fill Pitt will win outright. I don't play with an off-shore or on-line books, but local books therefore no option for the money line.

I will be around tomorrow for final line. Take care everyone and to all...a good night.

BC is a solid team- I wouldnt take +4 too big if u wait the line will probably go up a lot - could end up around +6 1/2 by game time

Smith isnt what Pitt really needs to worry about- they need to stop dudley and they have a chance.

caper, as Maverick noted BC is leaving after this season to play in the ACC. Does that mean much or should it be figured into handicapping...no.

vyrus, I see the line is up to 5 this morning. I hope it keeps climbing. Not sure what kind of line we will get here locally, they always seem to off a little here when home town team is playing in any sport.

Again, I just feel this is a good spot and match-up for Pitt.

Your local line is a killer. Getting 5- here. Not sure if I'll play it though. I'd like to see you win that play.

:)

Good luck!

How bad is Taft? I saw an NBA mock draft with him going sixth next year, are you fu-king kidding me? Dixon sucks too. If they would have gave up points before the half because an idiot didn't play for one shot, I might have puked. Winning at the half, but IMO should be about more than 3. The fun begins as Pitt has struggled in the 2nd half on numerous occasions.

Nole, where's the chubb? Getting it going man.

Be patient jr11. I can't just whip out the Chubb. It takes a while to get that thing going. You gotta tease it a little bit and then................boing!!!

We'll see how things are looking later. Let's see if Pitt teases the Chubb a little.

Wasn't just one, they all had it at +4.5. It closed there anyways as I checked different web sites.

Nole, thanks bud. Played out the way I thought it would, Pitt loses to UCONN over the weekend and wins outright at BC. It wouldn't surprise me to see BC lose this weekend to and at Rutgers. It's all about matchups and this one favored Pitt. BC wouldn't have the record they do if they had to play the top tier teams again (at Cuse, UCONN, ND, and at Pitt). Only wish I had an off-shore or on-line account so that I could of hit the money line too. Maybe some day...Nice start to week. Going to pick and chose my spots from here on out. No playing multiple games like I do throughout the week. Find one and shoot it.
