Hey guys - looking to get back on track after missing with Miami last night...tonight i am playing one play - and I really feel confident about it and am not counting out an outright victory. This game reminds me of the LSU game a few weeks back where LSU was +9 dogs and i gave them a 50% chance to win outright and hit them on the +400 moneyline - well LSU did win that game.

Tonight i am playing Harvard +9 and dividing a small percentage of my play to the Harvard +400 moneyline...Harvard would have to beat Princeton 1 in 5 times (20%) just to break even at the +400 mark - and i say they will win this matchup at least 2 out of 5 times under similar circumstances, so i can justify playing the ML here as well...

These 2 teams are similar in record - but you'll see Harvard has a 7-5 conference record - while Princeton has a poor 4-7 conference record...Harvard has already beaten Princeton on their home court and will be looking for the season sweep tonight...looking at all of the angles I feel 9 points is a generous amount to be getting with a dog capable of winning this game...I will be very surprised if the final result is not one within single digits either way. This should be a tight battle that goes down to being decided in the last 5 minutes...so this is my play of the day - and I hope to cash it! GL guys!

The play:

Harvard +9
Risking $440 to win $400

Harvard ML +400
Risking $50 to win $200

GL - and don't forget to look closely at the Ivy league dogs - they have covered at an astonishing rate this season - look to take the dog before fave - gl!

Why is the line so high? I dont know anything about the Ivy league but if Harvard already beat Princeton by 4 and they have a better record, why are they 9 point underdogs? It seem vvery fishy to me. Please respond.

probably because the game means absolutely nothing. the ivy league is wrapped up and neither team has a chance for the tourney. can't justify laying the pts on princeton but harvard looks like the right side

There is one major thing i've learned about the Ivy League - take the points! Someone recently wrote about the high percentage dogs have been covering - believe it was arond 70% for the season in the Ivy league! That is astounding! Anyways - yes basically there are 5 teams fighting to finish 2nd - and i just feel the right side is Harvard here...if you go look at the history of this conference throughout the year you will see a lot of heavy dogs that won outright - a position i think Harvard is in right now - i think they have a 50% chance to win the game outright...take the points here...though i haven't played the Ivy league (and wish i would have) as much as i did last season - i do keep an eye on the lines & results - and i am one to always lean to the dog first, fave 2nd, so it doesn't surprise me that Princeton was made a 9 point favorite...i often see inflated lines on the fave in this conference - last season the Ivy League was one of my best conferences as to winning percentage - just haven't played a whole lot of college games on Friday's this season...good luck if you choose to play it!

Wow Princeton went on a 16-1 run in the last 6:45 to end the first half...Princeton now up 28 to 14 at the half...they are 7-10 for 70% from 3 point range...

But the 2nd half comes out at Princeton -8? Original game line was Princeton -9...I say Harvard is not out of this one - this was toe to toe until that run - i say Harvard stays especially w/in the 2nd half line - i'm not ruling out them covering the game line as well

I made this 2H play:

Harvard +8 2H
Risking $550 to win $500

GL!

You weren't the only one baited in. Seems like the whole board loved Harvard.

Well pushed on that 2H line - but lost the harvard play - makes 2 losing days in a row - so i'll be extremely cautious tomorrow - don't want to be falling into a losing streak - i'll remain positive & try my best to get some more winners - gl guys!
