Kent State and Ohio will battle in the MAC in one of the bubble games this Saturday, as these two teams will fight it out for seeding in the conference tournament.

Ohio destroyed Kent earlier this year at home, 80-54, but since that loss Kent has won eight of 11, including five of seven at home. Kent State has an outside chance for an at-large NCAA tournament bid and can help itself by beating Ohio, who has an RPI of around 70.

Kent is the veteran team, and has been to the dance before. They know this game at home is a MUST WIN. They get it by 10 today at home.

Iona senior center Greg Jenkins was hurt in the final regular game of the season and did not play yesterday in the win against Siena, the team he had gotten hurt against. Iona has already been down one big man most of the year (Anthony Bruin), and their guard Ricky Soliver recently got carried off on a stretcher (concussion) following a loss at St. Peter?s. Soliver shot 1-for-7 yesterday and probably isn?t going to regain full sharpness this season. St. Peter?s features the nation?s leading scorer Keydren Clark, and he likes to penetrate, and without Jenkins, there will be room.
