Hudson Valley area.....NY
Just some info.No selection

Denver up to this yr never beat Laf.But they beat them twice this yr 79-72 and 72-66.It was no fluke but these two teams are the best in the Sun belt.
Both teams have balanced scoring with all 5 starters and no bench.Denver has the Pl of the yr in 6'10 Nicholson who avg 18 pts and 8 bds. Also has 85 blocked shots.Laf has 6'6 Wade who is a stud avg 19 pts a game.Laf also has Greene who was the Def Pl of the Yr.
If you break down the stats Denver has the edge.Scoring,FG%,3pt%,Defense,Blocked shots, assits, etc, etc. When Laf has some better numbers Denver is close behind.Except in rebounding and off bds.Laf has a huge advantage.Where Denver has the edge Laf isn't that close.Esp 3 pt shooting.Denver has 4 guys that can hit the 3 with Benzel being a deadeye.Laf has 3 guys and there % is bad.
Laf has the advantage of being an experinced team, etc
I know its hard beating a team 3 times in 1 yr.But Billups is an excellant pt gd dishing out 7 assits.
I think this game goes right down to the wire. The better FT team is Denver at 69% to 65%.

The game is at the Super Pit at North Texas tonite. The Super Pit gots its name from the real 'Pit" next door. And old college gym that held 4500 and the steel rafters made the place unbearable for oppenents with the noise. My freshman yr Louisville was ranked 7th or 8th in the country and we beat them 98-80.We beat Drake the yr before and they went to the final 4.Were 14-0 at home.
It was called the Pit. NT played in the Mizzou Valley. Then my soph yr they built the Super Pit.No home court advantage with the seats so far back.
I guess they call it progress.NT avg about 2,000 fans at home games this yr.To bad they didn't move them games across the street.
Tonite the game will be televised on ESPN 2.When the Super Pit was completed in '72 or '73 the Box and some of his buddies snuck into the arena.[we lived across the street] We had a basketball and played 4 on 4 full court. It was the 1st time anyone ever played on the court. The next day they opened it to the public.Box took the 1st shot ever in that building. And like my old days of capping..I missed the shot..
Miss you guys here...Will add some info to the Senior Prom and Junior prom[NIT's] this week.
