With so much uncertainty about two key pieces for MISS ST why is the line only 3? MISS won the first game 71 - 57 at home and has won 3 of the last 4 (SU) in this series. In the first game center, Campbell had 11 reb & 13 pts. He sat out MISS' close loss to ALA ,their lone loss the last 4 overall. Guard Powers has a very sore ankle, but he has said he will play. Campbell played only 2 min yesterday but I think they just saved him,and no one played more than 30 mins.I think MISS ST has a shot ,just a lean for now. ANY THOUGHTS ?

i would say because miss st can never win a big game. i think fla -2.5 is a pretty solid play. i could not trust miss st to come up big in this game.

I agree with Hoops that you can't trust MSU, however, Campbell isn't exactly a key piect to Miss State's success. In fact the past few games they have played Wes Morgan (7'2 Junior C) and he has done exceptionally well which eliminated the need for Campbell. Power is a tough kid and will play through the pain.

Despite MSU's failure in big games this season, I'll be taking the +2.5 because I think they are due and they match up well with Florida.

I realize Miss St (-3') smacked Fla around pretty good at the beginning of Feb winning 71 - 57, but some detective work reveals Miss St's p'folio showing two loss/no covers, both in the role of a home favorite by substantial ATS margins. This doesn't sit well with me. And in my book, beating up on conference bottom feeders like Georgia and Mississippi doesn't correct the fault. Loss/no covers in the role of a home favorite sound an alarm for me. Couple the no covers to large ATS margins and I start to hear bells, sirens and whistles.

I still hear them.

I like Florida -3.

Hey Buddy , you know I am not laying this out there to lay the points. It's take the points or pass for me. That ATS stuff, I have never understood. We typed about this moons ago , ATS #'s have a very short life in my plays . How can you use # 's that are made to deceive you , on top of other # 's that are made to deceive you to try and beat the guy who set those #'s ?

You asked if anyone had ANY THOUGHTS?

I merely replied.

For me, ATS #'s are simply a "PART" of a complicated equation.

Most people with an IQ above 70 wouldn't handicap the way I do, but I've always been a little strange.

Good luck, today.

not that most of you care what I have to say, but I like Florida here alot. They are rested, playing their best ball of the season and looking for revenge from that early February loss at Miss State. Oh yeah, and Miss State is WAY over-rated.

I did't know MISS ST was rated.
I meant in the eyes of the public--not the polls. Public sees 22 wins in the SEC, and assumes they must be a good team. They are OK--that's it.
