if anyone follows or has seen both these more than I over the years they have no life :mj07: ... I love UWs spunk, depth etc but I dont trust their overall basketball IQ ... Zona has just as much to play for or more, they have revenge, they have better bigs ...

I like zona quite a bit today ...

on another subject: maybe i dont know this team and coach all too well, speaking of BAMA, but I will fade them hard in tourney if matchup is vs smart, tuff team--they have never made me believe the handful of times ive seen them thru the years

Gregg, why is the fav after losing twins to Ohio. They should have a good fan support base. What am I missing here? Is it just the idea that, barring huge differences in talent, it is hard to beat a team 3 times in a season?

I know you, G, and a few others follow the smaller conferences fairly closely.

Thanks,
Bill

bill ru talking about Buff game, i take it ... who knows who's missing what--its all guesswork; I wouldnt mind seeing the huskies win but if zona plays smart they should win; UW has looked pretty shaky in both pac-10 games and in their pac-10 finale vs Trees ... 0-3 last 3 ATS, prob due ...

good luck LMM, maybe you know these teams better than I do, i sure as heck wont claim to be a cbb capping guru

take care

fwiw--id lean to uw 2nd half -2, poor trey shooting and salim cant stay this hot, can he? but mostly, seems like UW is coming up with all the off rbs and looseballs in last 5 mins of half--not a good sign for zona ...

L2y UW 5-1 SU vs Zona ...

I just have to laff how soft zona is on def rbs--in last 6 mins of fh and game they prob got 1 rb ... zona will not go far in ncaa, they have one shooter, Id box his ass--amazing effort by Salim, but Lute is getting old and his team, like my HS pg warned me in off season, is soft (are not tite) and just refuse to scrap ...

kudos to UW and Romar, to get beat by them with their poor DEF and shaky IQ 5 of last 6 doesnt speak well for zona--maybe its bad matchups but I had bad feeling at half ...

BTW, i bet im 15% on TV games if they are close and Im watching; it is boggling how I NEVER get to celebrate a close game win when I watch

oh well, good call to all who had UW; zona in no way played hard enuff to deserve a win
