RPI rankings 28, 35, 37 and 40 only 3 teams in top 40 not to get a bid. All 4 from the MAC.

Yet 87 NCState in as a 10 seed. (86 is Toledo and 88 Western Michigan). List would be too long of the teams all ranked ahead of them.

In theory RPI accounts for your conference as well. Miami Oh is 60 -SIX ZERO - places higher and in the NIT? Pretty hard to justify.

The committee has said over and over the RPI is not the only source/criteria they use in determining who gets in or not.

I agree the RPI shouldn't be the only source used. Sagarin should be used as well. ;)

Yeah I agree. Why even have the RPI at all if there is that much of a discrepency.

I did not know NCST was that low in the RPI rankings. I would have thought Miami-OH and Buffalo might have gotten in though.

Also, what about Wichita St? I thought they and/or St. Joe's would have gotten in before Northern Iowa? How they hell did they sneak in as an At-large?
