The MAC is clearly one of the most underrated conferences in the country, with Miami OH, the team in question tonight, a bubble team, conference regular season champ, not getting in the dance. A travesty. However, they are to take on TCU in the first round of the NIT tonight, 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS this year and 8-0 SU and 6-2 ATS their last eight, all as a home favorite of three and a half to six points. The Redhawks are also facing a TCU team that is 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS their last five on the road. The Horned Frogs are 17-31 SU and 15-30 ATS over the past couple of years against good defensive teams that allow under 64 ppg, to which Miami Oh falls into. The Redhawks allow only 61.3 ppg overall, and 60.3 ppg at home. Miami OH, up six at the half, pull away and win by 11.

They don't know each other, so each side's offense has an edge over the other side's defense. Houston has been facing quicker teams in C-USA that have been able to guard them better than Wichita State will. Wichita State has been playing smarter teams in the Missouri Valley that actually attempt to guard people, which Houston doesn't really want to do
