if you put a hockey player on this list you are mentally handicapped...and Bo Jackson is the greatest pure athlete of all time, hands down

Only one name comes to mind. He was the freakiest athlete I have ever seen play in person. l saw him play numerous times in college football and after that numerous times in minor league baseball. Bo Jackson was the most gifted overall athlete ever in my opinion. Nobody in the world had a better combination of amazing speed and power than Bo. He could run over you (Boz) or blow past you. One of the saddest things I ever saw in sports was watching Bo try to make a comeback with the Barons (AA). Watching him run around the bases was just painful. I feel sorry that his career had to end the way it did. He was special! :toast:

I still remember the highlight of the time he was with the KC Royals and after striking out, in 1 quick motion, he snapped the bat over his leg AND not at the handle, but like 2/3rds of the way up the bat. The man was truly an amazing athlete.

Alot of people forget Bo's monster homerun in Anaheim to straight away center field in the AllStarGame. What I remember most about him unfortunately is that run against Cincy that finished his career :nooo:

i would think that wilt chamberlain was the freakiest athlete of all time.

there was nobody in the league at the time big enough to guard him.

he was a man among boys.
