We get it.
Stoudamire made a 15 footer to put Ari. in the lead.
How many different threads are you going to post this in?
Yes he is clutch and yes he has big ones.
Now bring the big ones vs. Ill. as I am riding Ari in my auction.

I'll post this in enough threads for everyone to finally get it. . . there's still the clueless wonders (specifically east coast bias gurus) that still think Reddick is the better shooter.

LOL

I agree. Keep posting Nickelback. Salim gets bashed here way too much. The guy is the best shooter in the country. Great win for your wildcats. They played well tonight.

Did Frye hurt his knee?

I'll be rooting big time against AZ in elite 8 but they scare me against Illinois. They create so many matchup problems for any team. Thats what I tried to warn OSU backers tonight.

UNC, Illinois, and AZ are all scary teams that create matchup problems. One of those 3 will win it all.

Ask yourself why and you will know your answer why Nickelback has these posts.

Not sure about Frye Scott. . . hopefully he'll be ready to go. There's gonna be a lot of huge action on Illinois -5 for Saturday. . . I can already see it.

Arizona played well but they still mess up every once in a while on the little things: turnovers and free throws specifically for this game. What will it be against Illinois? If they want to win, it better be NOTHING!

nickel feels like his team gets no respect but they havent earned it until now...they played in a weak conference (see Wash, UCLA and Stanford) and they got the job done and now they are in the final 8, which proves their worth...arizona is a brand name school when it comes to college bball but lately they havent done anything in the tourney to back that up until this year..im sure they will get their due now

Did you see the defensive performance Head did to UWM's best shooter McCants? He completely shut him down, and Head has injured hamstring.

I wonder how healthy his hamstring will be against AZ and it will be exciting to see if he shuts down Salim.

See, this is what everyone is gonna think. . . wouldn't be surprised to see the line move up to 7 before tip on Saturday. Laying 5 doesn't seem like a lot.

The books will definitely be backing Arizona. . . just the way I like it!

See, this is interesting to me as well. . . why do people think that Arizona fades when they hit the tournament? They have had their first round losses like anyone else but only one was a truly huge improbable upset (South Alabama as a 15 seed several years ago). They won it all in 97, the final game in 2001 against Duke, and the Elite Eight in 2003 falling to Kansas that went to the final game. I'm pretty sure those years are accurate but may be a year off. I'm not sure what lately means to most people but over the last five years they have done a few things haven't they?!?!

Uhh Nickel 2-15 to Santa Calra. 3-14 East tennessee Sta. 4-13 Oklahoma, 5-12 to Miami oh - those are off the top of my head and all are pretty bad. lute has success and a ring and deserves great deference, but also has fades rivaling everyone except Roy I checked a couple weeks ago and found (as I recall) in the 21 years that in only 97 and 2001 did Arizona do better than their seed. 3 years met their seed, and in the others underachieved. (give or take) In 2003 they lost to Kansas as a 1 seed - that to me in my hard ass way is not an achievement

Obviously you are correct Sun. . . I was trying to focus on the last five years and the Oklahoma upset wasn't exactly improbable but of course East Tennessee State was which I even forgot about (I guess I'm trying to forget some of these like all Arizona fans).

I still say the loss to Kansas was quality since that game was a virtual pickem (they lost by 3 if I recall) and even the loss to Utah in 98 was halfway decent when you consider that the Utes went to the final game before losing to Kentucky. Of course that can be greatly argued given the fact that Arizona was picked to win it all in 98.

And in my previous post I meant to say Santa Clara instead of South Alabama. . . LOL, I need sleep. Goodnight all
