Too many points for me to lay against a red hot Panthers team. ILL IMO is one of the 4 best teams left in the tournament, but they dont seem to be able to hammer teams like they were earlier in the year. Lean to the under in this game, as I cannot see the Panthers trapping defense and passing game being that effective against a 3 guard system like ILL but passing.

Like this one real well, a Senior laden team that has been there before going to the final four last year. I feel that the Cowboys will be able to somewhat contain Stoudamire, we all know he is going to get his points but if they can force him to put the ball on the floor and create his own shots then he usually becomes quite frustrated. The key I believe will be to limit Frye from doing too much damage, the Cowboys will be very undersized in the post with Mcfarlin so he must step up. Graham must step up this game, his play to this point has been disappointing, and Lucas must hit from the outside to take ZOna out of their zone, if neither of these happen then it could be a long night, but I expect the Seniors to be focused.
Lou-Wash

If Louisville can get their transition game going then they have a good shot at winning this one, as Wash struggles on defense when they play a similiar team to their own that likes a uptempo. What scares me about playing Louisville is the depth that Wash has, they can come at you in waves and all their players are so athletic. Going to be fun game to watch, but a tough one to handicap.

Hodges has raised his level of play since early March and he will be the difference here, as the Pack have looked solid so far.
Nova-UNC

Without Sumpter I cannot see Nova going any further, and they may slow the tempo up in this one to try to steal this game. UNC is just too deep to go against by backing a wounded team.
Tucky-Utah

Should be a defensive and ugly game, I dont like to back the Cats minus points since their offense can be very anemic. On the other hand, Tubby is too good of a coach to not pull this one out against a novice counterpart.
MSU-Duke
MSU+4.5
Where was this hustle and athletiscm during the regular season for the Spartans? No team has impressed me more than MSU during the Madness as far as being night and day compared to the regular season. I think the wong team is favored here and I am calling for a Spartans outright win here.
