Round 1 Plays:

WV -2
Iowa State +1.5
St Mary's +2.5
Bucknell +14
Uab +2.5

Couple of Props: (all for 1/3 of a unit)

Alabama reaches Sweet 16 +135
Utah reaches Sweet 16 + 325
Texas Tech reaches Sweet 16 +210

Championship Pick: Oklahoma State +1300 for (1/5 of a unit)

Basically just followed my bracket and played any team I had winning in round 1 where they were either a short favorite or dog. Also played any team I have making the sweet sixteen that offered + money on the prop.

if you think OK state is going to win it all(which I doubt), it's a lot smarter to just bet the money line on them in each game; +1300 looks big, but they're probably going to be a big dog against Illinois, and if they ever get to the championship game, they're going to be really big dogs, and along the way you should pick up a helluva lot more than +1300.

Forgot one: Iowa +3.5

Yeah Rex I've been ultra busy coaching (states were last weekend and Nats are in less than a month) so capping hasn't been top priority. Once baseball starts I'll be ready to roll.

AlamoJoe: I understand the logic and it does make sense, but as I posted it's only a 1/4 of a unit so I'm not worried. Okie State is my hunch to win it and wanted to cash in small if my hunch is correct. Also if Okie State does get out of their region I have hedge opportunities. Single games are how I'm trying to make the real money, I've learned a long time ago futures won't make you wealthy.

Well Scott I know that you've made some nice coin on some futures in the past (Red Sox and Trojans I believe) so you've proven it can be done. I just use them as a chance to play some hunches and see if I can cash in. But like anything else, if the price is +1300 the odds are stacked against you.

Also looks like my Bama sweet sixteen pick is going up in smoke already.

Good luck to you as well in the tourney.

Round 2:

BC -2.5....I think this team is a little too physical, and have a major chip on their shoulder since everyone jumped off their bandwagon. I don't like that they do tend to let teams hang around but they should win this game in my opinion.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS --- finally the Patriot League gets their first ever tourny win, and the Bison are the team to do it. That just made my week, I'm very excited.

Man last round was rough: puts me at 5-7-1 for the tournament and down about 2.5 units.

Let's see if I can finish strong and get back into the black.

Michigan State +1.5
UNC/Wisconsin under 139.5

Good luck to everyone -- let's hope tomorrows games are half as exciting as the games we saw today.
