Clearly the wrong side, but a win is a win.
Congrats.

agree. i mean msu only led the entire 2nd half until sparks bounced in an off-balance 3 at the buzzer (not to mention blowing an 8 pt lead with under 3:00 left).

Lol wrong side...how can you fathom calling the team who was shooting 76% the whole second half and had a 8 point lead going into the final 5 minutes the wrong side...I mean i feel your pain in seeing your team go down, but no reason to downgrade a team because they were more experienced and deeper than your squad

It was the wrong side when UK was tied with the last shot in the first OT, right?

Cappin' Kirk:

UK looks loaded for next year. Don't get myopic about this year.

Maybe shouldn't say that, but there is no way you capped an 80% shooting performance by St. in the 2nd half. Without that UK rolls. Only good thing about 2nite is 2 great games to watch and 95% of the board won $$$.

hahah I'll have to disagree.

clearly the RIGHT SIDE, MSU clearly the better all around team, and deserved wholeheartedly to win.

MSU was a little shell-shocked at the start of OT1, and who could blame them after the lucky trickler from Sparks. Got it together for the second OT frame and the rest is history.

and how do you cap on off balance shot at the end by Sparks with a strong possibility that his foot was on the line, but CBS wanted better ratings? ... agreed that its good to see everyone win

CK:

All I can say is Donovan had better recruit like hell to keep up with Tubby in the SEC. UK will be loaded next year. Good luck.

If you had msu plus 2 it was the right side but msu -1 should have lost because Sparks was clearly fouled. **** it. See you next year.

What makes you think he would have made the free throw. He discovered iron deposits galore on his last attempt?

Nice run in the SEC tourney Fla.

Billy Ray Vyrus: I would never bet on a game that I wanted to win so badly, I'm just saying if Mich St. would've shot only 50% in the second half, the whole board would've lost their ass. I know it should've ended, but I disagree about his foot being on the line.

no. if michigan state would have shot 50% in the 2nd half, we would have had a close game where the lead would have changed hands a few times.

normally, im VERY critical of my own bets. when they are lucky as hell to win, i say so. when i cap the game wrong and still am fortunate enough to win, i say so. im always objective.

but youre kidding yourself if you think kentucky would have run away with the game under different circumstances. they might have had a better chance to win, but they sure as hell werent running away from anyone today.

I'm not saying a blowout, just an 6-8 pt. win. If UK would have shot that well we would have to listen to your spill about how you had the right side, and St. would win 4 out of 5, if they played again. It doesn't matter. The possesion that won the game for you was in the 1st ot when Mich St. got 3 or 4 shots and cut the lead to 1. I'm happy you won, but if you could go back I think you would reconsider touting this as your game of the tourney, when you had to have a Villinova-like shooting performance and 2 overtimes to pull out a cover. Good luck with your future on Mich St.

ill ask ptgrd1 for a game tape that he can send to you because you sure as hell didnt watch the same game the rest of america did. michigan state led for 30 of the 40:00. won the battle on the glass. shot the ball better from the floor, from the 3pt line, and the free throw line. held an 8 point lead with under 4:00 left to play. and kentucky hits an off-balance 3 to even have a shot at winning the game. the better team won the game bro.

Michigan St. shot such a high percentage in the 2nd half because they got absolutely any look they wanted. It wasnt like they were throwing in prayers. Open 3's and layups. It was a clinic. Just a sphincter job at the end, but just was served and MSU covered.
