As much as it pains me to watch these games given Arizona's meltdown. . .

Michigan State +5 BIG

Simply put, this is Illinois year and if a 15 point deficit with 4 minutes in a game can't stop them then what will? Unfortunately for Michigan State and North Carolina, they are playing for second place. Ask yourself this: who has North Carolina played? Who have they really beaten in March? The Heels had a rocky ACC tournament to say the least and was fortunate to cruise into the Final Four based on a rather easy road. Michigan State had to beat Duke and Kentucky in two days. Spartans find a way to get it done over a team that is overrated in the minds of the casual onlooker and members of this forum!

i feel your pain bro....been hard to think about anything sports related.......still feel we are the better team than ill and my tix to st louis should have been used...but i digress

the ncaa champs the last few years have been fairly obvious....take the team with the best nba players playing ncaa basketball (gordon-okafor 2-3 in the draft...carmelo...first college player drafted two years ago)....if form hold true, it's unc title to lose...they could have 3-4 lottery picks on the court at one time.
i've felt all along that they had the most talent and have the ability to destroy anybody they played (was hoping arizon could avoid them as long as possible in march).

while msu has looked good...i really believe that region was pure garbage (duke, ky, ou, cuse, msu, utah) all had serious flaws...mostly on the offensive side of the ball....people seem to think that msu is the msu of old and likes to play defensive ball....they have become a scoring juggernaut lately which plays right into unc hands....i'll take unc and the over..

as for the other game....fuk illinois...i dont mind their team, but their fans are a bunch of losers....them losing would make me very happy......just not sure lvlle is the right team to beat them...no inside presence...

maybe i'll throw in the ua-kentucky title game from 1997 at 3pm!!!!!!!!
