DETROIT TIGERS ( BONDERMAN )........169/100
Lima did well for the Doggers last year but I think the end is coming near for Joses career. On the other side we have Bonderman who I think is ready for a break out year. I think the Tigers take care of business in their season and home opener

PHILLIES ( LIEBER ).......205/150
Wanted to go bigger on this one but will just take it easy since it is opening day. Lieber is nothing to write home about but last year was basically his first time back after a handful of injuries kept him of the shelf on and off for a while. He actually pitched really well late last season and I hope he starts out good here. I am one of Livans biggest fans but he is a different pitcher on the road and I think Phillies lineup will prove to be just a little to potent for this Nationals club

BALTIMORE ( LOPEZ )........110/100
First off I know Oakland has owned Balty the last couple of years winning 14 of 16 and sweeping them last year. Chavez has loved Camden Yards and has killed Balty in his career. Kendall was a nice pickup but can Ellis and Byrnes help out again. Zito had a disappointing season last year but did finish up good and has been strong this spring. This is his first Opening day start. I like this Lopez kid as he was a surprise last season coming out of the BP to become a starter. He can throw some nice off speed stuff and hopefully he has his stuff and works the corners today. Some righties on this Balty lineup hopefully get to Zito. Actually he did great against righties last year but lefties hit him at an over 300 clip. I hope it is the opposite this year. I think Balty comes out and leads this one from the start. Hopefully Sammy can crank 1 or 2 out :rolleyes:

Looking for this SD team to take care of business on the road here. Kennedy was pretty sick at Coors last year but I think he will be hit hard this year and hopefully today. Besides Helton and Wilson this Colorado team lacks much punch and experience

SD / CO OVER 12.5......53/50
Gonna take a small stab here as I believe SD will score some off of Kennedy and Williams has had his troubles in the past here.
