they have done this for years...they are amazing at getting men on base at a high rate, and then to hit consecutive ground balls or fly balls...thats why I do not bet them, I do not like being angry at my own team lol

I'm with you, 1837. They seem to have PhD's in hitting into double plays. The one positive is that the Padres pitchers have been able to get out of the few jams they've been in. The bullpens are going to decide this one...

yea, Pitt is def getting owned offensively, but they are making the Pads look like the Royals with their halfway decent pitching

I have the Padres-1.5. It's nearly impossible for me to win. Hope the Rockets win so i can have a little profit for today.

Gman- I don't think he's dogshit, but I don't think he's the guy he once was. Personally, I'd feel better with Otsuka in there. But what matters is that Trevor got the job done... at least that inning.

i dont know. otsuka is pretty damn good, but so was hideo nomo his first year in america. same with chan ho park. hitters have a book on him now. doubt he will be lights out how he was last year. hoffman is incredibly reliable. maybe im partial to him because i think hes the one reliever who has never ever blown a save for me. every time i need him to come through he is money. he can throw that changeup till hes 45
