UFC TUF Finale - Saturday Live on Spike TV

Mike Swick -225

This line is off by 100 points or more. The only question would have been if the fight was heavyweight, since Swick would be giving up weight, but this fight will be at 185 (which isn't commonly known). Mike is the far superior MMA fighter and will take it to the ground for the win. Love Swick at less than -300, like it at -400. Get it while the getting is good.

Just in case people don't know, the Swick fight won't air... they are only airing 3, the 2 finals with the Shamrock fight. Ken is starting to look like he is 100 years-old in the face. He weighed in at 202.5.

BTW, I wrote that the swick-schoenhauer fight would not be at heavy but at 185, obviously meant not at light-heavy which is 205. There were no heavyweights on TUF. Anyway, both mike and alex are natural 185'ers and thats why they are fighting at that weight.

Zuffa lacked 205ers they were happy with before the start of the show, so they were both asked to move up. Alex seemed to have an easier time putting on the weight, while Mike was 191 for his light-heavy fight with bonnar.

I'm really happy with Mike at that line. I'm pretty sure most people dont realized this fight will be at 185, they assume it will be like the show, where they each fought bouts at the 205 limit.

Ken is in tremendous shape as usual. Not sure how much longer he can keep peaking with all the injuries he has had....

o.k.,skill...you got my attention....i hooked up southworth, sanchez, koschak and now swick in several parlays....along with franklin....

i took sobral at even money....got st pierre at -145...trigg at +160...

some guys i know think st pierre`s opponent has a shot...i like st pierre..

am looking at liddell at 2-1...but,these fights usually play out in a similar manner the second time around....thinking that after having seen couture first hand, liddell might make some adjustments..he`s mentally tough...and couture`s 41...

not sure ,though...couture is hard to bet against...even at these odds...a class act...and a monster at this weight...

what do you think?...

Hey Weasel, I havent really focused too much on next weeks PPV. So Ill post that in early next week...see if I can keep the winning streak going on this show. But for St. Pierre, I agree, I really like him and almost positive my money will be on him.

Here is what I have tonight:

Swick -225 6.75units to win 3units

Forrest Griffin -135 to win 1unit - could be a really great fight if they arent too tentative to start out.

Rich Franklin -200 2units to win 1unit

I was a little disappointed with the Franklin line. I thought Rich would start out as a slight favorite and move from like -130 to -160 and then drop a little. Still took him, although the line is sharper than I thought it would be.

Good luck with the parlay, all the chalk scares me a little, but I can't argue with any of the selections.

Did you see how big and in shape Sanford is? Probably won't matter a bit, because of Koschek's great takedowns and control, but that is why the line moved down.

This is from from the guy that sets the MMA lines for sportsbook.com:

Rafferty over Karelexis @ +200 is my only decent sized play on the card. Its off the board at most shops now because of the large amount of money wagered by myself and other 'groups' on the fight. I think you will hear more reasons behind it, after the fight.

Will Rafferty got KO'ed in the first. Glad I didnt bet it lol. Seems a bunch of "groups" lost a bunch of money. Odessa is cursing the fact that he bet on these B level busters. heh
