Houston -102. Biggest play of the season so far for me. I know Houston is stumbling into this game, but this is the game stoppers are for. Roy Oswalt has pitched in 7 games at Cincinatti in his career. He has 6 wins and a no decision back in 2002 where his team lost 4 to 5. His games were 9-3, 7-5, 5-3, 6-1, 11-4, and 7-1. Stros won all of them and he got the win in each. Wilson has won 1 of 4 games he pitched at home against the stros. Cincinatti batters have been baffled by Oswalt its that simple. Dunn is 8 for 37 with only 1 jack, Griffey 2 for 16 0 homers, Kearns 5/21, and Casey 7 for 41 :scared . Oswalt wasn't sharp against the Cardinals his first outing, but turned it around beating Cincinatti 5 to 2 giving up 2 earned through 7. Against Wilson, Bagwell is 8 for 23 with 3 jacks, Ensberg is 6 for 12. Even Roy Oswalt has 2 hits off Wilson. I know its tough to face batters again in a short time span, but Wilson is in the same boat. Just really really like Houston in this spot.
KC +130. Lord help me for betting this bunch of losers, but they are playing another bunch of losers. Friday night in KC is beer night, so its time for a home victory. Detroit is their best shot at one. The projected starting lineup for KC is 14 for 34 against Ledezma. Ledezma looked good against Cleveland, but still young with a career ERA over 5 giving up 161 hits in 143 innings. Nobody on the Tom Sellecks have great numbers against Lima. Tough to back Lima the way he's started, but I really think KC breaks through with a home victory.
