I don't see a line on this because apparently Vince Carter is questionable (hahaha...he's always been "questionable"...probably afraid for his life in this case). Whatever the line, if the Raps are laying up to 4 I would be backing the Raptors. Maybe a chance they're getting pts?
The city has waited 4 months for this game...Vince's first game in Toronto since the trade. It's the only game in the past month that has any meaning to this team. The fans are ANGRY and will be VERY VERY vocal anytime Vince comes within 10 feet of the ball. I'll be at the game along with 19,799 other people who are furious at Vince and the way he dogged it during his last 2 years with the Raptors. Nothing would be sweeter than to see him cowling under that stupid towel he wears on his head when he's trying to hide from everyone.
This kid is a choker and has never responded well to a negative atmosphere. When he had that rivalry thing going on with T-Mac after he bolted town, T-Mac always kicked his ass head-to-head and exposed him for the fraud that he is. When the crowd would get on Vince's case, his game would disappear. He just cannot handle the pressure.
Also...when you've got a team playing against their ex-star, I always like to go with the team, not the "star". That applies to all sports. Everyone seems to think the individual will show up the old team, but it seems to me the ex-team usually prevails.
Call it a homer play if you want, I don't bet much NBA...but I thoroughly expect the Raptors to play their best ball and shove it down crybaby's throat tonight.
