I don?t expect the Hawks even get a sniff of repeating their 139 point performance from Sunday night against the Knicks as they won only their 13th game of the season.
As they have already nailed down the No. 2 slot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, Detroit could have slacked off on Sunday when they trailed Cleveland by 12 points at the half. Instead they outscored the Cavaliers 25-13 in the 3rd quarter on their way to a 90-87 victory.
I also don?t look for Detroit to let their season high 11 game winning streak to come to an end against the lowly Hawks on the eve of the playoffs. This looks like d?j? vu to me as last season the Pistons won eight of their last nine games to go into the playoffs on a roll. They continued that strong play in the postseason on their way to the championship and I made a ton of money riding them all the way. Let?s win a little tonight with this soft line.
