BALTIMORE (Chen) +105 over BOSTON (Wells)
This one looks like a steal; a hot team and a
hot pitcher (Chen 1.80 ERA) taking on a Boston
team behind a struggling David Wells. The veteran
lefty pitched well vs. Tampa Bay in his last start, but
he checks in with a hefty 5.10 ERA overall, not good
against this sizzling Baltimore offense (5.7 runs per
game). Boston was terrible money-wise against
southpaws in 2004 (-$990) and have lost each of
their previous road games against lefthanders this
year. The O's won the season series between these
two last season (+$650) and are hard to pass up as
an underdog tonight at Camden Yards.
