20th: 1-4 -3.4
ytd: 10-6 +2.0 (6-6 ML, 1-0 RL, 3-0 tot)
comments: the dark side of the force betrayed me yesterday; truth was, I really wasn't crazy about either the Braves or Cards, but the line looked a little cheap to me; my spider-sense also told me that the Westbrook start was a better under play (oops), but the +140 was overwhelming; thank-you LAblue for saving a worse catastrophe...only liked LA a little there, as well; seduced by the dark side...
Rock n Roll
too close for comfort:
--Reds (priced more than the -130 I mighta bit at; K.Wells has the occasional gem)
--Washington (gimme +150...+120 is a joke vs overdue Smoltz)
--Phillies (Kennedy comparably occasional capable; -150 was my absolute ceiling)
--Cards (think Carp the better SP, but his 6.35 era means he might not benefit from ump Winters gratuities (i.e. fairly big k-zone))
--mets@Fish under (hold that thought...)
--Brewers +1.5 or under (8 at Minute Maid and, oh yeah...the Brewers...)
--la@SD over 8 (Eaton is overrated and Erickson's 6.97 era begs the over)
--Giants and/or under 8 (Schmidt sans Ortiz--no coin flip there--but -185?; D'Backs should avoid shutout and Ortiz can be flakey)
--Tigers and/or under 9 (Bonderman to I-Rod can be intriguing, but Buerhle starting hot, as are Chisox, and Tigers bats erratic; total is more tempting, 'specially at Comerica)
--Twins and under 9.5 (Gassner will not win any awards this year...-170?...gimme a break...BAnderson is another occasional gemmer (though maybe supra-occasional))
--bosox@O's under 10 (10?...I figured maybe 9 in this matchup...still, I like the side better, here)
--Jays (Chacin has looked sweet, but the Pinsteinbrenners are revolting against mediocrity; +120 is juuuuust a bit outside)
--D'Rays (Brazelton rocked at Tropicana last year; price right about where it should be at +120...I came close here)
better save before I'm zapped...
