thought this quote from kerry was a classic

Kerry's Concern

Speaking of Kerry and the church, he is now condemning Republicans for injecting a religious "orthodoxy of view" into politics. At a seminar on Capitol Hill (search) yesterday, he said, "I am sick and tired of [Republicans saying] they somehow have a better understanding of ... the Judeo-Christian ethic ... You show me where in the New Testament Jesus ever talked about the value of having taxes and taking money from the poor people to give to the rich people."

1st how do you take money from poor when they pay no taxes 2nd Does he thinks the poor our contributing to charities to aid the rich--and speaking of charity--when he ranting about the poor why don't someone stick his tax returns in his face and question him.

It is a great comparison. We, as a country, make mistakes and just because it has been that way doesn't mean it should stay that way.

I was only addressing your weak argument of
it's not like something new is being imposed here, right?

It was clever making folks think they had a tax cut. It was just shifted from feds back to the states, and your local taxes. Get ready for higher fees and possible jumps in your sales tax. If that has not happen already. And I see with interest rates now up and gas at all time high. Your already in the hole.
I wish we could elect some real Conservatives. Not the fake ones we have now.
