Texans steal Phil Buchanon

I wouldn't say the Texans got a steal. They got one hell of an athlete but a complete MORON. The guy said lasy yr and i quote "Right now I feel i am the top 2 or 3 players in the NFL". Are U KIDDING ME!! he isn't top 10 on the raiders let alone the NFL. He is a "me" only guy that will drive his team mates NUTS. You think Dom Capers is going to settle for that stupid childish behavior? it is going to be fireworks when those 2 clash heads.... im glad we got rid of him, we already have enough morons on our team as is....
buchannon is young and could still mellow/improve.
he would never work in oakland again. texas did get a low salary for a guy who can make big plays..... i am happy to see him go.

Texans don't need him to start right away with Glenn and Robinson.
Buchanon will be a nickel back.

I know Buchanon is a typical cocky Hurricane who gets burned for his cockiness at times.
Texans 3-4 defense needs speed in secondary.
This guy has a base salary of 750,000 for the next 2 seasons.
That is why they got a steal.Filled two needs
unt returner and cover guy. For a 2nd round pick and Drew Henson(what it boils down to.)Got Henson in 6th round and traded to Cowboys for this years extra 3rd.
Buchanon is cheap and has experience.

based on what k.c. gave for surtain, i think houston gave up a little too much.
however, many times a player fits better with one team than another. capers is very good defensive coach, so i got to believe he knows what he is doing in getting buchanon.
