Last year wasnt the current president was a member of the opposite party as David Palmer.

Now we are to believe that he took Palmer's VP and Chief of Staff? The same Chief of Staff that was fired for pretty much treason?

Im still getting over the fact that after Marwon took the football the helicopter spent about 1 min with Jack at the first jeep...and then couldnt go find the 2nd jeep---with Marwon in it.

Oh well...good show nonetheless--you just have to ignore some of the far stretches of reality.

You pretty much summed it up. You're absolutely right. I guess the feeling is that the Chief of Staff was "forced" to make that decision based on his opinion that the President was making the wrong decision. The Chief of Staff technically didn't do anything illegal, he just disagreed with the President and assisted in his vote out.

But he Chief of Staff was froma different party. Can you imagine John Kerry taking on Andy Card on Karl Rove? Sure there is plenty of bs and the timing element is generally absurd (I guess everything freezes during commercials too) but some stuff is ridiculous. In this case, I am sure they gave these guys a multi year contract so throw reality out the window for a few bucks saved.

Could be worse - how about Alias. I guess there are like 4 CIA agents in the whole world so these folks have to handle every mission on a moments notice and the bad guys stay where they are while Sydney flies half way around the world in 2 hours.

Is it entertaining? Sure. But is there some reason we cant throw in a smidge of reality.
