After four starts LY, Kenny Rogers was 3-0 and on his way to an 18-9 record, the most wins in any season of his near 20-year baseball career. TY after four starts, despite a solid 3.33 ERA, he's 0-2 and the team is 1-3. He's suffered from a lack of run support with Texas getting scoring a total of just 11 runs in his four starts TY. Ryan Franklin has pitched surprisingly well so far TY with an ERA of 2.51. That follows a nightmare season LY in which he was 4-16 4.90. In 19 road starts LY, Franklin posted an ERA of 5.60 and the Mariners lost 16 times! I CAN'T overlook those numbers off a few good starts early-on and I'm not ready to give up on the Rangers (especially at home). Texas was an impressive 51-30 in Arlington LY, including 13-3 in games started by Rogers. Take Texas.
