my 'lil darlin had his first little league game last night. his team has 3 pitchers and they each pitched 2 innings of the game. AJ pitched innings 3 and 4, and had ALL strikeouts of the 6 batters he faced, 3 went down swinging and 3 on called 3rd strikes. he was SO freaken proud of himself i think he was still smiling all night in his sleep....LOL (hope he understands that some nights won't go quite that well)

I used to love innings 3 and 4 ..that's when you get to the bottom of the order with the kids that seem to just get "dropped off"...and don't know which end to hold and which to swing.

Little league is more fun for the parents sometimes !!

...congrats to your son!!! :clap: ...he'll remember that game for a longtime. that's a good age for a young boy to hold a good memory like that for a lifetime.

I coached LL for 12 years. some of my fondest memories came from those days. still see alot of the kids who came thru the program and where they are today. good luck.
