I'll second the vote for Lou Malanati's...prefer sausage. Been eating their pizza since the early seventies. People in the rest of the country have no idea what they're missing.
Hard to find here in Florida, but the best I had was in Mass at some greasy spoon pizza joint. A former girlfriend turned me on to it and now I would say it's my favorite. (a lil' sceptical af first)
Clam Pizza w/extra cheese.
If you lilke clams/little necks you got to try a clam pizza. At first I was like YUK and she said to try it. It was awesome. Now I make my own.
Still like all kinds of pizza!!!!!! (no anchovies for me!)
exactly what I was thinking when I first read that too! :scared :scared Was thinking the bearded clam version with a cheesy type exudate :scared :scared No thanks!!
Only in California...designer pizza's. Sounds crazy, but it tastes good. THey use refried beans instead of sauce, then pile on the ground hamburger meat, topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese.
I don't eat cheese, so this is my pizza substitute...
Another Steve,
I have had the pizza at this place called Zukkis, Sicilian style that is not bad. They use fresh cheese so that is a plus. Not a big fan of the Mr. Jims, Dominos, Johns type places as they all use the freeze dried sausage crap and very little fresh ingredients. I suppose if I grew up here it may be different.

Chop,
Zukkis is on Central and 183 in the same strip mall area as the niew Buffalo Wild.
Dominos, Papa Johns, and Mr. Jims are pretty much everywhere, as I am sure you know. Also Roma's on Western Center is fairly good, and Sabbatini's on Euless Main is fair. Zukkis is by far the best.

I'm like the hotdog eating champion from Japan, a.k.a. Sunami. I can put them down. Therefore, Cici's Pizza works great for me. For under 5 bucks I can have all styles and favors, and I like them all, except the the veggie pizza.
When I was living in Valley Ranch, we used to order the meat lover's thin crust from i Fratelli's pretty often. They had some fancy name for it instead of meat lover's (like the "carniovore classic" or something of that nature), but it was real, real good stuff. I know there are a few of them spread across the Metroplex. I'd recommend giving it a shot.
Also did Cici's a couple times... not the best pizza you'll ever eat, but like Cryboy said, there's as much there as you want to have.
