good afternoon.nice win last night, banged the over 203 in the sac/sonics game
today we have 4 games on the slate.3 games have the home team favored while the other has the road team as the pick.i am leaning towards the lone road favored team the san antonio spurs.the series is tied 1-1.game 1 the spurs were a 8.5 point favorite and lost straight up 93-87 courtesy of the spurs missing 17 straight shots in the 4th quarter(ouch).it was a 2 point game with 2 minutes remaining so i think i can say that the nuggets got a break in that game.in game 2 the spurs 8 point favorites just simply destroyed the nuggets 104-76.duncans ankle seemed to be fine in only 28 minutes he scored 24 points and grabbed 9 boards.parker rebounded from a bad game 1 with 19,barry had 16 and ginobili off the bench had 17.and bruce bowen playing solid defense on anthony 5-14 only 10 points.nobody in the nba can stop tim duncan when he is healthy,he will take camby, martin and nene to school every night.denver 24-4 since the all star break and 31-7 since george karl took over and they have won 19 of there 20 at home and still are a 1.5 dog at home.they get absolutley no respect from the vegas boys(lmao).the spurs #1 ranked defense 88.4 sure did clamp down in game 2 allowing only 76 points and holding the nuggets to 36% shooting,i look for the spurs to play similar ball tonight as they did in game 2 and get back home court advantage.denver will need to play a excellent game to beat the spurs and i dont see it.
look for the spurs to take a 2-1 lead in this best of 7 series.
