have 2 active parlays that pay almost 2000 each. on one i just need houston and roger to win minus 185. on the other i need the astros and the rockets on thursday minus 3 to win. should i play some pitt plus 1.5 runs - 135 or pitt plus 175 or both? was thinking about 250.00 each way and then if houston wins worry about the rockets on thursday. thanks for any help.

My experience with parlays have been pretty good this year. I've hit 2 out of 3 this year. I would just let it ride. The only way I would play it would be Pittsburgh +1'. I really think Houston will win, although Rocket hasn't been getting much run support this year. Could very well see a one run game. Good luck with your parlay.
IMO, you have to put at least some on the Bucos. If nothing else, to cover what you played on the parlay. I have run into several situations like this already this year (and hit some rather large plays) and I always cover them a little when all I need is just one game that has not gone off yet.
If it were me, I would play Pirates +1.5 for 250 (or whatever you would be happy winning...with this play, you could potentially win BOTH the parlay and the Pirates +1.5) and I would put some on the ML as well. You may even want to play around with the alternate run line Pirates -1.5...that has to pay good I would think. Its all up to you, but I would at least play the Pirates +1.5 for the mere fact you could win everything....and you can't lose any money at all!

i will go with pitt plus 1.5 for 150 and pitt on ml for 100. hopefully the houston bats will give roger some support and if they win i will worry about the rockets vs dallas on thursday
