Outright plays (total stake per play: 1.5pts)

Adam Scott to win 25/1 e.w. @ Stan James
No course form, but with Quail Hollow having only hosted this event for the last two years, virtually all of the field are still learning this course. Naturally, the big three are dominating the market, but very rarely have they all played together and dominated the leaderboard. That makes Scott very good odds at 25/1, particularly as he is the next best-ranked player in this field in the World Rankings (6th) and is fresh off a very impressive wire-to-wire victory in the Johnnie Walker Classic two weeks and was also a winner in the Nissan Open in February on this Tour.

Mike Weir to win 40/1 e.w. available generally
Weir is not too far back in the World Rankings (12th) and was the defending champion at the Nissan Open when Scott when in February. With three wins in 2003, including the Masters, when he was a contender for the Player of the Year until the very end, he is tends to convert his chances more often that his counterparts. After a poor start to the year, though it included a runners-up spot at Pebble Beach, his form has been much better recently with 17th in the Players Championship and 5th in the Masters being his last two starts. And while his finishes of 18th and 21st on this course are solid rather than noteworthy, it should be remembered that it was his first event after winning the Masters in 2003 and it was only one bad round that took him out of contention last year.

Scott Verplank 60/1 at Centrebet e.w.

Seems to be the type of player who will go OK on this track. Also, recent form is quite good. Looks a good price to my eye in the circumstances.

Kenny Perry 40/1
1st in total driv--1st girs maybe he gets lucky and 2 putts a few greens.

72 hole
B Davis +100 over Rose @ Goto *

Will take it easy this week after getting torched last week.Had been running at 66% clip (171-87) till erroneous judgement on driving being essential and putting too many eggs in one basket.

Course this year should play different than past 2 as cool weather has left little rough this year on what is usally a very punitive course for errant drives with quite narrow fairways. Found out last week driving means squat with no penaty for errant drives--two of the shortest and most errant drivers on tour Petro and Dimarco had no prob.

* Looks like $plays is history--had been down 2 weeks and had wrote off balance in account, however had someone interceed and Goto took over balance. If anyone else had same prob let me know and I'll direct you how to get it transferred. As with $plays--Goto is very shakey and would not recommend unless to recoup.
