the #1 seeded suns clash with the #4 seeded mavericks in round 2 in this best of 7 series.the suns easily wasting the grizzlies in round 1 by sweeping them and the mavs were pushed to the limit by the rockets in round 1 and easily won game 7 to advance.lots of scorers on both teams here.the suns average 110.4ppg while allowing 103.3 and the mavs can fill it up also scoring 102.5 ppg.mavs have 6 players scoring in double figures led by dirk nowitski he had a sub par series against the rockets never having a 30 point game but look for at least 3 big 30 point games from him in this series.terry,finley and stack will provide solid perimeter shooting.the high flying suns led by mvp steve nash and emerging star amare stoudemire 26ppg love to run and gun and shoot the 3 ball all night,they attempt 25 3s a game.marion 19.4ppg,j.jackson 17.1ppg and q.richardson 14.9ppg can get hot and provide plenty of scoring.suns are favored in game 1 by 6.5 points and the total is a whopping 225.i am leaning towards the over here.i am looking for a similar game like the one on 2/26/05 the 124-123 suns victory it was 71-68 at the half.look for both teams to never stop running.also look for both teams to set a record for most 3 pointers attempted and made in a playoff game.(lmao)if the boys want to set a total this high it best go over ;)
