personally, i don't think the "public" in baseball is nearly as relevant as foots or hoops. i take large note of public perception in those sports. i guess you could call me a contrarian player or anti-public guy. and fading public in those sports has won me decent money. but in baseball, players are gonna wager on favorites to an even greater extent. it seems like more to ask for the KC royals to beat anyone staright up, compared to an underdog in fball and hoops that is gettin 10 or 20 or 30 points.
i could be wrong, just seems that way to me.
