Hilton Head Golf Courses

I am heading down to HHI in about a month, and have been down there the past couple of years. Anyone have any favorite course they like to play there. I have played at a handful of courses, just looking to get someone else's opinon to see if there is a course I must play.

Plenty depending on what youre looking for. Price, difficulty, etc.

Harbour town is nice, if you can hit straight consistently and play 'for fun' without getting worried about handicaps and such.

hilton head is 30 mins from Parris island, a MUST PLAY course. it is as good or better than anything on hh, it is always in superb condition, and it costs 35 bucks !! including cart !!!you have to call in advance, list players. allow extra time the day you play as it takes a few mins to get onto the base. you need registration, proof of insurance, and EVERYONE needs a photo I.D. another 10 mins gets you to beaufort [where i live] nice place to visit while in the area, also there are a number of good courses here for under 40 bucks. a far cry from what you pay on hh want info, just ask

beantwrep, the name "new redneck" refers to the fact that i recently moved to S.C. , from MASS!!!!! i figured it was better to live with rednecks than IRISH ! last time i was at a denist was not that long ago, as, in fact i am a dentist ! got bored with making dentures for all your ralatives up north. have been reading this site for years, the only reason i registered yesterday was to respnod to a post. anyone who is in the area and does not play parris island is missing a great golf course. p.s. i play every day, and have played every course in this part of the south. P.I. is amoung the best. fyi pauly,s ialand is a good 4 hour drive from hilton head, good advice, also the doll house is in myrtle beach, even further away !!! also, he will pay a lot more than 50 bucks extra / round on hilton head. too bad there is not an ignore button for this forum !!!
