Mussina is not out of the woods yet, Last two starts nice but against this oak team and tampa, oak can't score but this line tells me the books like Them. Harden and the A's are 15-5 his last 20 at home. Harden has pitched well enough to win every start but one and he is due to spin a gem. All the cash will be on the Yanks. Any #'s on early money ?

from what I see the money is on the yanks 2 to 1 and the line has moved from +95 to - 115 for the yanks. this may go to -130..

Harden's ERA in his two May starts is 1.69. 16 INN and 13 SO. He's on a roll. Last week he only gave up two runs to the Yanks in 7 innings. He had zero run support last week and the bullpen came in and gave up another 4 runs.

Mussina has been pitching out of his mind (for Moose) in May with a 1.13 ERA. Maybe the lines-makers think it's about time for him to come back to earth...

I thought the line was low too but the Yanks are on a streak and Oakland has had the last two games in thier grasp only to let the bullpen blow it. If this is a close game near the end of the game will the Oakland bullpen have the confidence to close the Yanks down.

VERY VERY INTERESTING.

MUSSINA is coming back on an extra days rest. BUT HE THREW A WHOPPING 131 PITCHES on 05/07/05.
MUSSINA has thrown 131-115-105-99 last 4 dating back to 4/21(22 days).

Time change albeit 3 extra hours for both teams ( Oak. coming from Boston).

[/B] Does Mussina make it past 4 ??

I am taking Oakland tonite, but if i lose, i will be chasing after Mad Mike at bigger odds down the road. His next start might be in Seattle.

MUSSINA has a beating coming !

This season Mussina has had one start with extra rest and lost to LAA, 5 runs in 7 in. His last 2 starts last year in the post season with extra rest coast the yanks big time. Oak is not Bos but .....

Looking at the numbers and stats.....

The craziest opening line on the board has to be Washington -$140. Money already hitting the Cubs here.

Mussina is very particular about rest. Doesn't like less or more, he's very schedule oriented. Been that way his whole career -- I do not know his career record in spots like this, but he has vocalized in the past that the extra rest throws him off mentally.
