The 65th Square
Just noted something very interesting in Indy/Det game.

The over/under for each quarter is about 42.5 or 43.

However, when you look under props for the most pts. scored in which quarter, it goes as follows?

1st - +225
2nd - +245
3rd - +230
4th - +180

I bet you get what I'm saying here. The 4th quarter seems like the play since the book is clearly leaning that it will be the highest quarter. Also, we all know about end of game fouling.

Isn't this interesting?

Is it like this in all games?

Seems like you could just go to the props and see which quarter gets the worst odds for you and then bet that quarter on the over number.

So in this case you would bet the 4th quarter over 43!

:)

and

and

I realize that in some games the quarter over unders are different, but if they are the same then this seems like a good system

Only problem I see in that is if you have a team losing by 15 - 20 points. You're going to see a walk-it-up style game by the team leading and no fouling at the end.

agreed and of course I realize that happens, but my pt is that how can each quarter be say 43 over/under while in the props one quarter is clearly favored over the others!
