? Comparing runline to the total?

Do you take the -1-1/2 with a total higher or lower (And vise a versa) Just curious as to what other people do. For instance, Clemens is -1-1/2 +125 with the total @ 7-1/2 flat. Would you be more inclined to take the -1-1/2 if the total was higher or lower. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Ok than!

Since the line is 7-1/2 i'm thinking a final of 4-1 HOU which puts me on HOU -1-1/2.

Obviously its better to lay 1.5 runs with a higher total. More runs equal a less chance it will be decided by a single run. However runline odds adjust in accordance to the total (most times) so it really is just preference on whether you believe it will be a lopsided win or not.

Laying 1.5 runs with a home team and a low total is the riskiest proposition. Don't have exact statistics but I would not recommend making a habit of this...
