first off, Im mad at myself for not hedging more ... i dont like phx's chances now, and Im an idiot for not factoring NBA's greed and making phx play off disadvantage of rest etc ... even if they bounce back for game two, best it'll be obviously is 1-1 ... cant believe barry actually was the difference, he was garbage everytime i watched him all year...

spurs -350 now im guessing ...

missing JJ1 now to guard stand stills like Barry hurt today

I'm thinking same thing, but all is not lost.

As you mentioned, game was basically decided on a barrage of 3's by Barry. Who could have predicted that? Bowen was a non-factor, the Suns showed they will be able to get up and down, and Stoudamire was able to have his way down low.

I know everyone will jump ship on the Suns now, but its a 7 game series, so there is no need to panic.

As a last point, I hate to hedge, but I do it all the time. I think it really is a 50/50 proposition in the long run. Instead of picking up 10000 on Kenny Perry this weekend, I picked up 4700 by being a pansyass and hedging left and right. Hedging is just like wagering, you win some, you lose some. Taking a shot with the Suns, if you won 4-1 and up futures every time, you would be a millionaire.

So. Cal
see my other post reg your comment on rest...in the last week they each had 4 off days....who cares that phx had 1 day vs 2 days in the last few days.....this series will have 3 off days between games 2-3....that is the joke.

hunter in the game with amare was a bad move...especially when sa was going with horry at the 4.

I would guess Spurs -400 or above. They really shade the Game 1 winners, especially if they get one on the road.

So. Cal
the other problems with all this scoring in the 4th is that the total will likely jump to the 212+ range...loved the 207 line today

The graphic on tv said game 1 winners in conference finals round win 87% of the series. So technically though all is not lost.........hope it turns around for you Suns backers.

Spurs are the best home team in the NBA and picking one up on the road is going to make it very difficult for Suns to catch up. The main factor is Ginobili, and if SA picks up game 2, it is over.
