I have had it with Tony's whoosdum and he wont be missed. I am still trying to figure out how he became a "field agent".
As for Mandy I think we find out she is Nina's long lost sister.
One question: Did the Chinese suddenly decide they aren't upset any more? It wasnt even referenced i the last episode.

Interesting finale. I dont mind the bs except for all the timning absurdity. I guess Jack planned his whole death, fake blood, drugs to fake death, and get others involved in what, about 45 seconds?

How exactly did the plane just happen to be in the air to shoot down the missile?
Why would ANY terrorist send the missile to LA from Iowa, when Chicago and NY are much closer and desirable targets (not to mention the terrorists arent there!)
Some reason in particular Jack didtn ask Mandy where the missile was going?

I didn't have a hard time believing there were jets in the air because I thought they'd mentioned that military jets were already in the area searching for the missle.
Still, I did enjoy watching it. First time I've watched since the first season. Made Mondays a little easier to get through.
If all those planes were in the air how come not a single one for 3 hours over 1800 miles saw it? It was flying low and not a single person on the ground reported it? If it was "stealth" how did the plane pick it up on radar - yet satellites couldnt find it?
And what was the "shocking part" so heavily advertized? Nobody died, no real damage. And nobody believed Jack was dead for those 10 seconds (or Tony either for that matter). Maybe they meant bring ing the Chinese back into the show after giving them the hour off last week.

loved the way the finale ended (with Jack walking away) and yes there are some "stretches" made from time to time.....but ya gotta admit 24 is one really great show
Don't know how there would be any more episodes with Jack being "dead" but guess we will see

I suspect that when they filmed they expected it to possible be the last episode. Anything now will make your use of the term "stretch" seem absurd.
