I would like to know the last time a road team attempted 54 free throws in an NBA playoff game???

Anyone who can explain that one is a helluva lot smarter than I am...........

Detroit shot 43 which is only 11 less. at least 4 free throws were intentional as soon as shaq got the ball. another 6 or so were at the end of the game intentionally.

free throws were about even if you take away intentional and garbage ones.

i will agree that NBA games don't need 97 free throw attempts.

its like blue said,i count 5 intentional fouls in the last 1:07

billups-1:07 shaq 2-2
prince-0:56 jones 1-2
hunter-0:48 jones 2-2
hamilton-0:33 e.jones
prince-0:08 wade 2-2

PERSONAL FOULS
MIAMI -29
PISTONS-33

MIAMI -ATTEMPTED 54 FREE THROWS-2 WERE TECHS

PISTONS-ATTEMPTED 43

TAKE AWAY THE INTENTIONAL FOULS DOWN THE STRETCH AND ITS EVEN,THATS NO EXCUSE,THEY GOT BEAT BY NOT PLAYING DEFENSE AND LOSING THERE COOL 2 TECHS DOWN THE STRETCH.WHEN YOU PLAY SHAQ STRAIGHT UP MAN TO MAN LIKE THEY ARE YOU WILL GET BURNED EVERY TIME.AND THEY HAVE NO DEFENSIVE ANSWER FOR WADE ANOTHER BIG NIGHT 36 POINTS.

ST...........Got beat by not playing defense??? They go from giving up 10 ft attemps in gm1 to 23 ft attempts in gm2 then come home and give up 54 attempts........

What did Detriot do?? Come home and then just forget how to play the same defense they played in Miami????

I am not saying this is why they lost the game. I just find it curious that the officiating became so ticky tacky after the first 2 games.....
