Thanks for your positive thought, I appreciate it, but it's coming very close to the end. The vet is actually surprised that he's still living and has so much spirit. In questioning on whether we should put him down at this time, our vet said if it was his dog he certainly couldn't. My daughter had said the only reason he's hanging in there is because I asked him to hang in until the baseball season is over. I know it's a selfish thought on my part but shit he's been with me for 9 good years. We're known as a team. He's heard every #$@$%$# and every YAHOOOOO during the games. He even get's a treat when my team score. Everyone says he's not going anywhere soon because of the way I treat him. Matter of fact I might end up dead before him.... I'm 53, in good shape, but carrying him up and down the stairs is starting to take it's toll. As soon as he shows any signs of pain that will be it. Our vet is going to come to the house, which is a big relief. One of my daughters is away on holidays in Portugal and will be home June 13th....hopefully the big guy can hang in there until she gets home. Right now he certainly looks like he will be......Now to go get us some butterscotch ice cream.....Thanks
