The Democratic Party of Today

This used to be a party of compassion, of peace. But not anymore. Bush liberated 50 million people from brutal dictatorships, but they ignore that, they are in denial, which is fine with me. :) They are only jealous that they will not be a part of history. They are embarrassed by the pathetic no-plan-no-agenda-sissy campaign put on by the "aimless John Kerry"

Trust me folks....the democratic party is toast for the next 20 years to come. After 9-11, America trusts a REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT. SOMEBODY TOUGH ON TERRORISM. LIVE WITH IT. Tell your leaders to quit acting like loser crybabies who just got their toys taken away. Quit acting like whining girls and get over it. No offense but it truly makes your party look like a bunch of American-hating pussies.

FACT-
We have uncovered over 390,000 mass graves in Iraq, skeletons with their hands bound behind their backs...women & children shot in the skull by the terrorist Saddam's regime...19 U.N. violations....
.....U.N. weapons inspectors kicked out for 3+ years.....probably as they moved shit into Syria and Jordan.......(new evidence out today)....

Saddam shot.....anti- aircraft fire at American jets DAILY as our brave men patrolled the UN mandated no-flyzones.....something liberals FAIL TO MENTION

Here's a link for when Saddam gassed his own people...look at all the dead children....

http://www.kdp.pp.se/chemical.html

The liberals of today spend 10 times more time attacking our own president than they do Saddam Hussein.

Ever heard a democrat in Madjacks angry at the terrorists???? NEVER

Angry "wanna be military expert" Nancy Pelosi <<< :mj07:

Rightfully so, I don't think many democrats want any part of this 'history.'

And that's hilarious about 'liberating 50 million people.'

Denial is always the first stage guys, it's ok. If I was a democrat I'd be in denial too. This is exactly why the democratic party has spun so far down the toilet. You guys are on the wrong side of history and you can't stand it!!

BTW DJV I have no idea what you are trying to say. Looks like you've been hanging out with your hero Ted Kennedy a little bit too much.

i have a problem with charles manson....& i have stated it to him once......i don't think he should be using a mass murderer as a handle.....

but i tend to agree with alot of what he posted....

having howard dean as their party spokesperson is a definite detriment to the democratic party....i don't have any stats to support this but i wouldn't be surprised if he is causing people to bolt that party....& that annoys me because it would like to see both parties strong...it is better for america.

this party is making a huge mistake by moving to the left......the majority of americans are rather conservative....

i have also stated here at madjack's that with the way the dems are acting since post 911...the only way a democrat will see the white house is with a visitor's pass......

It was a mistake to appoint Dean, no question, but overall I don't think the party is moving left. And I disagree that most Americans are conservative. I would estimate that 80% would be classified as moderate conservatives or moderate liberals, probably in roughly equal numbers. That's why it's puzzling and disapppointing that Dean is the Chairman of the DNC. Just yesterday he's mouthing off about a bunch of nothing while calling Republicans policy 'dark' and other similar words. He wasn't even talking about anything specific. That's not needed at all.

my mistake.....i meant moderate conservative.

i definitely don't think that this country is divided down the middle between moderately liberal & moderately conservative.i would have agreed with that ratio prior to 9/11...but not now.

i know that some here might not like fox, but imo it is a barometer of how america is thinking with their neilsen numbers doubling the perceived left leaning cnn & probably tripling msnbc.

I don't think Fox can be a barometer. You have one station where the righties flock to with the centrists and liberals having 4 or 5 choices. Obviously, their ratings will be diluted.

I don't think that 9/11 has patently changed people from liberal to conservative, but the party who happened to be in office at the time has sufficiently scared enough people into thinking that they are the only ones who can protect them.

There has always been a huge misconception that the republicans are 'tough' and will 'protect the country' by going to war while democrats are wimpy pacifists. Just look back through history and you can see that in reality, there is no truth in those sterotypes.

the democratic party has changed over the years...it is not the same party of truman, jfk, or scoop jackson......they are perceived to be soft.

bill clinton tried to take the party to the center & was successful, while he was in office......but people like al gore, john kerry, & howard dean refuse to listen or learn from a master politician.

kosar, you are underestimating the demographics of fox & how many people were affected by 9/11.

like it or not......more american people are turned off by people like boxer, pelosi, kennedy, or dean than delay.

AR, to be more specific, more Americans are
turned off by the venom and hatred expressed
by these left-wing extremist (who claim to be
centrist)... :mj07: ...who call Bush a murderer,
a liar, Hitler, every name in the book...the
Democrats have become a party of ugly people...
until they shed that hatred and negativity and
start coming up with some answers they are
screwed.

But with all that said every poll taken shows folks piss at everyone in DC. Even Fox polls show it. Not as high as others but all going the same way. Hows the job Bush is doing. Less then 48% say good. What do you think about S/S and Bush's ideas. 72% say he going wrong direction. How good are things in Iraq. Same thing. How are our borders being handled same thing. Bad.
Hows the Congress and Senate doing. Lousy say the polls. Dems can pass blame on easy being the minority. They don't need to come up with plans. Right now they just need to let the republicans keep shooting them self.

That was and continues to be the Dems biggest problem. They don't offer anything other than criticism of Bush. They need to offer some plans of their own.

Biggest joke of the week was Dean claiming that he is for fiscal responsibility and making the tough cuts when needed. Other than defense, I wonder what Howard would want to cut? Do you think he would want to cut down medical and social programs? Dems have never been big on cutting costs. And here is their biggest chance - Bush! W is conservative really only when it comes to his ridiculous alignment with the religious right and perhaps his stance in Iraq. Other than that, he spends more freely than anyone since LBJ. Bush is anything but a conservative. He isn't concerned about stopping illegal immigration. His "No Child Left Behind" program is one of the most absurd of all programs instituted since he has been in office. No one who has ever set foot in a school could possibly buy into that crap. He is the most vulnerable sitting President in a long while and the Dems cannot take him on because they have no one to climb aboard.

ferdville quote:" Other than that, he spends more freely than anyone since LBJ. Bush is anything but a conservative."

it's very surprising to me why bush is spending like a drunken sailor.

it seems that no politician, from either party wants to stop illegal immigration.

Salty Dog you miss the point. When you have those eating there own you let them eat. And right now the republicans are doing a good job of blowing off Bush. When you have all the polls going your way you say nothing. Kerry talked to much and lost.
