LA ANGELS (Escobar) +110 over BOSTON (Wells)
The Red Sox can be forgiven if they come ino this
game a bit flat after beating their division rival Orioles
in dramatic fashion yesterday. That can open the door
for an Angels team that has posted a 5-2 (+$360) mark
on the road vs. lefties, having gone 20-7 (+$1220) in '04
in that same circumstance. Kelvim Escobar has been
effective in his 5 starts this year (3.56 ERA) and we're not
sold on David Wells after one good oouting, having watched
him struggle for much of the year.
