The Cardinals have dominated the hapless Astros in
head to head play (6-1, +$485) and look for that
trend to continue. Mark Mulder has led the Cardinals
to victories in 9 of his 11 starts this year (+$550, 3.62)
and he should do well vs. a team that is only 4-14
(-$1190) vs. lefties, averaging just 2.4 runs per game
in those contests. Roger Clemens has been brilliant,
but lack of run support has made him one of baseball's
biggest money losers (-$770). St. Louis is a tough road
team (-$765) with an outstanding pitcher on the hill, an
excellent value in this setting.
