have been there a couple times,have family who lives is dayton,nevada
great place and love the mountains. havent been to alot of casinos there but make sure you hit the ones in reno 1st. i think theres a place called the horseshoe that i liked for betting on the games
also you must take a trip to lake tahoe, very beautiful and they have harrahs there as well.

It's weird how you 'joined somebody elses service', but the service name, and URL, is a permutation of your screen name. Then you say that 'somebody took over the service.' How can somebody take over the service, when it wasn't yours to begin with?

As for Reno. The Atlantis hotel is a good place to gamble and has a large casino. Silver Legacy is nice and Peppermill is also ok. All in all, it's a "poor mans Vegas", nothing spectactular in town.
A trip to Virginia City is worth the short drive, but a trip to Tahoe is a MUST. Arguably the most beautiful spot in the world. There are casinos on the North shore and the South shore, but the south shore is where all the action is. Great golf courses (Edgewood and Incline Village).
I don't know how much you travel, but being from Fl. you'll find the terrain incredible.
