Minnesota hurler Kyle Lohse seems like he has finally tapped his
potential, at least for the time being. Reports have stated that he
has improved by getting getting on top of the ball and getting more
sinking action to his pitches and inducing more ground balls, rather
than relying so much on the strikeout. As a result, Lohse posted
a record of 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA in the month of May, allowing only
one home run in 27.1 innings of work. The Twins have feasted on
D'Backs' pitching in the first two games of the series--scoring a
total of 19 runs--and they had success against Vazquez last season
when he was employed by the Yankees. Vazquez has had trouble
pitching at home this year, where he has given up 20 earned runs
in 28 innings pitched, and he was blasted for eight runs by the
Phillies in his last outing. like the Twins' chances to complete
the sweep.

Eaton is 8-1 and proved his worth in his last start , which came against the Cubs.
Eaton tossed seven innings and was near-flawless for five of the innings, allowing just two basehits and a walk.
Meanwhile, Jake Westbrook is 2-8 on the season and has no control of his sinker right now. The Padres are a patient bunch and will be able to sit back on Westbrook's junk for an easy win tonight
